Château-d'Oex is situated between Gruyère and Gstaad.

By train : One hour from Montreux or Zweisimmen with the Montreux Oberland Bernois (MOB), and two hours from Genève or Bern.

By car : half an hour from highway exits from Bulle (A12 between Lausanne and Bern), and Aigle (A9 between Lausanne and Sion). Follow Chateau-d'Oex.

By plane  : From Geneva, Zurich and Basel airports.

On foot or bicycle : Chateau-d'Oex is a stage in the Grand Tour and also a stop-off on one of the cycling routes in Switzerland.
