Château-d’Oex is located at the heart of the beautiful Pays-d'Enhaut, a classic Swiss Alpine valley. Skiers and snowboarders throng the slopes in winter, and throughout the summer walkers follows centuries-old trails and create new routes through the mountains. Using public transport, you can reach the glacier of the Diablerets, the Castle of Chillon or the vineyard of Lavaux ( UNESCO world heritage site) in less than one hour.
